Koa and the King By: Shawna Cropas
The story of Koa and the King takes place in Hawaii on the most famous windsurfing beach in the world, Ho'okipa Maui. Here Koa combs the beaches to investigate sea life while a royal Pacific family gathers to their summer home at the Coral Palace. During one of the family's famous feast the tables are literally turned upside down and Ehukai, King of the Splendid Pebble Crabs, is forced to ask for the help of the little boy. Meanwhile the everyday beach life of Ho'okipa keeps spinning around the two characters as their story unfolds.
